Skeletal Tuberculosis in Unusual site

Abstract
Skeletal tuberculosis is not so common in Korea, but the incidence is still higher than in Western World. We have experienced three cases of multiple-involved skeletal tuberculosis of unusual site from 1979 to 1981. One case involved both medial malleoli at intervels of three months. The other case involved distal humerus, proximal ulna, calcaneus of left side and zygomatic arch of right side at the same time. Another case involved second and third thorasic vertebral bodies, second and forth ribs of left. side and left parietal bone of skull. All three cases were treated with early curettage and antituberculous medication. Because of its rarity, we report these three cases with brief review of literature.
